With just six months until Cunard‘s new Queen Anne sets sail, the cruise line have tantalised with glimpses of the planned new interiors and behind-the-scenes views of the ship taking shape.

Queen Anne fitout
The 3,000-guest Queen Anne is in the final stages of construction at the Fincantieri shipyard near Venice, Italy.
On a recent visit to the region I was fortunate to see the vessel taking shape, now bearing the iconic Cunard funnel and livery.
So, with work on the exterior almost complete attention has turned to fitting out the sumptuous interior. Indeed, the ship has been moved from the construction dock to a fitting out basin.
Fitting out Queen Anne will include revitalised accommodation across the Britannia, Princess and Queens Grill categories.
Not to mention new dining experiences including menus from Michelin-star chef Michel Roux, as well as reimagined public areas.
New spaces to relax
Details of Queen Anne’s outstanding wellness spaces have now been revealed. There will be a new Wellness Studio on the top deck. It will feature an arched steel frame designed to maximise height and light in the space.
A new Wellness Cafe will be open during the day serving health-conscious delights. The iconic Pavilion pool with its retractable roof will be the perfect place to relax, while on the Grills Terrace there will be infinity-edge whirlpool tubs.
Inside, the new Mareel Wellness & Beauty spa will be an oasis of tranquility with uniquely crafted massage treatments, facials and cryotherapy. Not to mention a Himalayan salt sauna and cold room.
