Spirits

One of Azamara Pursuit’s smaller bars is known as Spirits. It’s an intimate space bursting with atmosphere. What’s more, the barmen are expert mixologists. So it’s hardly surprising that Spirits is popular, especially after dinner when the resident pianist plays his nightly sets.

Enjoy expertly crafted cocktails at the Spirits bar.

The bar has a great list of spirits and cocktails, as well as a collection of signature libations like the French 75 made with Tanqueray 10 Gin, Syrup, Lemon Juice, Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne & Lemon Twist. We also liked the Royal Flush with Highland Park 12 Years, Chambord, Peach Schnapps & Cranberry Juice.

Opening hours: 10:00am – midnight.

The Living Room

The observation lounge on Azamara Pursuit is perched high on deck 10 with commanding 180-degree views across the bow. Known as the Living Room, it has a homely feel with lots of sofas and comfortable armchairs.

The Living Room is popular in the afternoon when High Tea is served. Later, a three-piece band and vocalist perform their first set.

At sunset the Living Room steps up a notch. The band return and waiters serve champagne and cocktails as guests share stories about their adventures. The good times continue late into the evening with after-dinner entertainment, including karaoke and a D.J.

Opening hours: noon – late.

The Cabaret Lounge

The Cabaret Lounge is the theatre on Azamara Pursuit. It hosts guest lectures as well as live shows and musical productions.

The entertainment on Azamara Pursuit happens in the bars and show lounges.
The cast perform in the Cabaret Lounge.

Indeed, the resident cast perform shows like Take Two – The Music of the Movies and Britrock! On our voyage these were mostly unimpressive, even saccharin. That’s in spite of the talent of some cast members.

The Cabaret Lounge also plays host to guest artists like comedians, dance troops, magicians and musicians.

It’s worth noting that there is bar service in the Cabaret Lounge prior to and during performances.

Showtime: 9:00pm

The Prime C Bar

The Prime C Bar is tucked away inside the Prime C restaurant. It is one of the best kept secrets on board. What’s more, you don’t have to dine at Prime C to enjoy it.

The Prime C Bar has seating at the bar, so you can watch as your preferred pre-dinner libation is prepared. What’s more, you’ll get to know the bartenders, who seem to enjoy the company.

Opening hours: 6:00am – 10:00pm.

The Discoveries Bar

The Discoveries Bar is right outside the Discoveries Restaurant on deck 5, so it’s a popular meeting spot for a pre-dinner tipple.

Opening hours: 6:00pm – late.

The Pool Bar

The Pool Bar is just steps from the swimming pool in deck 9. It is a great place to relax and enjoy a warm sea breeze, not to mention a refreshing drink.
