Queen Elizabeth has a great range of wellness options. There are two Queen Elizabeth pools, a gym and a luxurious spa with a range of relaxing treatments.

Queen Elizabeth pools

There are two Queen Elizabeth pools, one midship and the other aft. Sun loungers surround the midship Pavilion Pool and it also has two Jacuzzis. 

The Lido is one of the Queen Elizabeth. pools.
The Lido Queen Elizabeth Pool has great views.

The aft Lido Pool has panoramic views and is usually more lively. It has a larger sunbathing area as well as more sun loungers.

Both Queen Elizabeth pools have bar service.

Queen Elizabeth gym

The Queen Elizabeth gym has an excellent range of fitness machines. It also has glorious views across the bow of the cruise ship.

There are treadmills, elliptical trainers and bikes as well as weight machines and free-weights.

The gym also has a space for yoga, pilates, aerobics and stretch classes. Personal trainers are available for a fee.

Opening hours: 6:00am – 8:00pm

Sport and jogging

Queen Elizabeth has a unique range of sporting activities, including lawn bowls, deck games and even fencing.

Fencing lessons are a unique attraction. They are held in the Queens Room and are very popular. Indeed, you will need to sign-up to participate.

Jogging or power walking is also popular on the Promenade Deck. Three laps around is 1.5km / 0.9mi.

The Queen Elizabeth spa

The Queen Elizabeth spa  is called Mareel Wellness & Beauty and is operated by Canyon Ranch. It is a sanctuary of relaxation on the high seas.

Indeed, it’s the perfect place to unwind with a massage, body wrap or facial. There are even alternative treatments like acupuncture and reflexology.

There is also an Aqua Therapy Centre which has a delightful hydrotherapy pool, an aromatic steam room, a Finnish sauna and an exclusive Relaxation Lounge. Access to the Aqua Therapy Centre is free if you have a spa treatment. Alternaively you can get a day pass for US$35.

In addition, there is also teeth whitening, a barber and a full service salon for hair and nails.
