Seven Seas Explorer sailed proudly into Civitavecchia (Rome) this morning. Her return also marked the completion of her first voyage since the pandemic forced a pause in operations last year.

“It’s truly amazing to be back on board Seven Seas Explorer, and it is fantastic to see our guests being treated to the unrivaled Regent experience once again.”

Jason Montague – President and CEO, Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The ultra-luxury vessel operated by Regent Seven Seas Cruises sailed an 8-night itinerary from Trieste, Italy (near Venice). She visited some of the most fabled ports of call in the Adriatic and Western Mediterranean. These included the ancient city of Dubrovnik in Croatia as well as the much-loved island of Corfu. Not to mention Sorrento on the idyllic Amalfi Coast of Italy.

Regent Seven Seas Cruises tell us they have taken great care in preparing Seven Seas Explorer’s return to ensure the service was ‘so seamless it was as if we were never away’.

Health and safety protocals key to Seven Seas Explorer’s return

Regent place great emphasis on their health and safety protocols. Indeed, guests and crew must have had all thier COVID-19 vaccinations. In addition there is more thorough health screening on the pier. Also guests must return a negative COVID-19 rapid antigen test before boarding. On board there are now more stringent sanitisation measures too.
