Michelin-star chef Nobu Matsuhisa will bring his popular UMI UMA restaurant back to Crystal Cruises.
The cruise line have announced the award winning restaurant will feature on Crystal Serenity and Crystal Symphony when they return to service later this year.

With more than 40 restaurants on 5 continents chef Nobu Matsuhisa has developed an enviable reputation for exotic fusion cuisine. Indeed, many of his restaurants have earned and retained coveted Michelin Star ratings. His talent involves blending traditional Japanese dishes with ingredients from Peru, where he spent his formative years as a young chef.
UMI UMA on board Crystal Cruises will showcase the very best of chef Nobu’s cuisine, including his signature Black Cod in Miso as well as Grilled Chilean Sea Bass and Wagyu Beef Filet Steak. Not to mention fresh sushi at the Sushi Bar.
The restaurants on board both vessels will be reimagined with an elegantly modern decor.
Guests can enjoy one complimentary reservation at UMI UMA for sailings of 11-days or less, or two reservations for longer voyages. The cruise line tell us that additional reservations will incur a nominal fee. Once on board guests can make any extra bookings.
Crystal Serenity will be first to return with UMI UMA from 31 July 2023. Crystal Symphony will premier chef Nobu’s restaurant from 1 September 2023. Planned voyages will sail the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Alaska, the Caribbean, Canada and New England, as well as the Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
