The Ponant L’Austral pool deck is a relaxing haven. It is located at the stern of the small cruise ship and boasts spectacular 180 degree ocean views. There is attentive bar service and ample room to relax with a cool drink or a good book.
L’Austral was put into service in April 2011 and is one of three sister-ships in the Ponant fleet. Indeed, these three vessels are the biggest ships in the fleet, offering more space and amenities than some of the line’s other cruise ships. L’Austral has a total of 132 luxurious rooms and suites and can accommodate 264 passengers and 140 crew.
The pool deck is spacious and comfortable with luxurious, padded sun loungers.
The sparkling teak-rimmed seawater pool is heated to the perfect temperature. Poolside service is provided by attentive staff.
Ponant call the superb L’Austral a mega-yacht and that’s exactly how it feels. With just 132 cabins it never seems crowded, even around the pool deck on sea-days. The L’Austral pool deck is identical to those on board Ponant’s sisterships (Le Boréal, Le Soléal and Le Lyrial).
