After being cut in half, stretched and spending 59-days in dry dock, Silversea’s famous Silver Spirit is at sea once more. The lengthened Silver Spirit is now 49-feet longer and has embarked on her first post-transformation voyage.
Indeed, the transformation of Silver Spirit has achieved much more than just making her bigger, every inch of the luxury cruise liner has been upgraded. There’s a stylish new decor which echoes that of the flagship Silver Muse, the pool deck has been enlarged – a great improvement, and there are new cafes and restaurants.
All the suites have also been entirely redecorated and upgraded. Each one now boasts new state-of-the-art technology and in-suite entertainment with HD interactive screens.
The extra space means there is room for 26 additional Veranda suites, 6 additional Silver suites and 2 additional Panorama suites. All the top suites will also have handmade, customised mattresses.
In addition, the top of the line Balsorano Suite will exude ultimate comfort and style, embellished with the stylistic tastes of Silversea’s chairman, Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio
Speaking at the relaunch of Silver Spirit, Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio said. “Our beloved Silver Spirit resumes service in a condition that is even more beautiful than before.”
Silver Spirit now also sports a range of new dining options. In fact, guests now have eight restaurants to choose from with the introduction of Spaccanapoli, Silver Note, Atlantide, and Indochine. La Terrazza, the line’s iconic Italian dining venue with its delightful al fresco terrace, has also been renovated with a new bar area.
Other upgrades onboard include the addition of the Arts Café, as well as Tor’s Observation Library – the previous library books have been moved to the Observation lounge. The Zagara Spa has also been improved, so too has the Panorama Lounge and the chic Dolce Vita lounge.
Silver Spirit will spend most of the European summer in Northern Europe before crossing the Atlantic where she will cruise the North American coast until November. For more information visit the Silversea website.
