Crystal will enhance its already exceptional culinary offering by partnering with three Michelin-star chef Massimiliano Alajm and his restauranteur brother, Raffaele.
Michelin inspiration coming to Crystal
The brothers are renowned for their must-visit restaurants in Padua and Venice, Italy. Their new collaboration with Crystal will see menu items specially created for the line’s acclaimed Italian restaurant, Osteria d’Ovidio.
“We believe in creating memorable experiences through food, and our dishes are crafted with the utmost care and dedication. We are excited to share our vision and bring these dishes to life for Crystal’s guests dining in Osteria d’Ovidio.”
Massimiliano Alajm – Chef.
An Italian culinary heritage
Massimiliano Alajm is the youngest chef ever to be awarded three Michelin stars. What’s more he has retained all three stars for an unprecedented 22 years. Massimiliano and his restauranteur brother Raffaele will bring their culinary heritage to the menu at Osteria d’Ovidio.
“We are incredibly honored to collaborate with Chef Massimiliano Alajmo and his brother Raffaele. Their culinary mastery aligns perfectly with our vision of providing unparalleled dining experiences to our guests.”
Cristina Levis – CEO of A&K Travel Group.
Crystal tell us the brothers will work closely with the cruise line’s culinary team to ensure fresh and local ingredients are sourced for all dishes, including specialty items from Italy.
Details of chef Massimiliano’s new menu items are yet to be revealed. In the meantime Crystal guests can dine at the brother’s famed restaurants through a shore excursion with sister-brand Abercrombie & Kent. In Pauda they can eat at Le Calandre, or in Venice they can dine at either Grancaffè Quadri or Ristorante Quadri.
