Seven Seas Grandeur has been floated out of dry dock ahead of its debut in November. The newest ship in the Regent Seven Seas Cruises fleet will now be fitted out internally with ultra-luxury suites and reimagined public spaces.

“We are excited and immensely proud to welcome guests on board Seven Seas Grandeur later this year.”

Andrea DeMarco – President of Regent Seven Seas Cruises.

The float-out of the 746-guest Seven Seas Grandeur took place at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy. According to maritime tradition a prayer was offered by the shipyard’s chaplain and a bottle of champagne broken over the bow. Then the sluice gates opened and the waters poured in, gently lifting Seven Seas Grandeur off her dry dock mounts.
