Cunard Line have announced the next ship to sail in the prestigious fleet will be named Queen Anne.

Indeed, the World-renowned fleet will number four vessels when Queen Anne enters service in early 2024. She will join Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and the iconic Queen Mary 2.

It’s worth noting that Queen Anne will be the 249th vessel to fly the Cunard flag.

“I am absolutely delighted to welcome Queen Anne, the fourth ship to Cunard’s fleet. This marks a very special moment in Cunard’s 182-year history and showcases Cunard’s exciting global plans for the future.”

Carnival UK President, Sture Myrmell.

As we have previosuly reported, the vessel will weight 113,000 gross tons and carry approximately 3,000 guests. Also, just like Cunard’s other vessels Queen Anne will offer four classes of service: Britannia, Britannia Club, Princess Grill and Queens Grill.

Luxury cruising, evolved

The design of Queen Anne will be something of an evolution, rather than a revolution. Indeed, many of the public spaces will be familiar to those who have sailed on Queen Victoria and Queen Elizabeth.

However, the all-new vessel will boast a refreshed and updated decor, not to mention enhanced signature public spaces. Cunard tell us Queen Anne will bridge tradition and contemporary luxury, thanks to the input of World-renowned designers. They promise bold tones and a striking aesthetic, while in keeping with the timeless Cunard sophistication.

“With design inspired by the past and set for the future, Queen Anne is the perfect way for our guests to rediscover the joy of exploration and travel again.”

Carnival UK President, Sture Myrmell.

Cunard say itineraries for Queen Anne’s inaugural season will go on sale in May this year. Also, the ship’s first sailings will take place in early 2024. More in-depth details are to be shared shortly. For more information visit the Cunard website.
