Ultra-luxury cruise line Seabourn have revealed a brand new dinning venue which will debut onboard Seabourn Ovation next month. The new Seabourn Ovation restaurant will be al fresco by the poolside and called Earth & Ocean at The Patio.

Seabourn promise a sophisticated al la carte menu, artisan ceramic table ware and a spectacular candlelit atmosphere beneath the stars.

Earth & Ocean at The Patio has been developed by consulting chef Anton Egger who draws ideas and innovations from his travels.

Diners at Earth & Ocean at The Patio will enjoy a truly unique experience, with an imaginative array of fresh, inventive dishes from around the world. There will be Moroccan tagines, meat brochettes quick-fired or grilled, and traditional Chinese-style filled bao buns.

The new Seabourn Ovation restaurant will also offer a different European-style finishing course each evening, such as shareable oven-baked camembert or brie accompanied by a pot of honey pommery mustard and toasted rustic bread.

There will also be delectable desserts including oven-baked peaches and slow-roasted pineapples served with house-made gelato.

Richard Meadows, the president of Seabourn, is understandably upbeat about Earth & Ocean at The Patio. “The new concept, which has some really unique service elements, will be one of many highlights for guests to savor with the launch of Seabourn Ovation, and we look forward to expanding it to all of our ships in the year ahead.”

Indeed, the new Seabourn dining venue will be progressively rolled out across the rest of the fleet over the next year, replacing the existing buffet dinner offering at The Patio.

The Patio’s famous lunchtime buffet will continue, with its much-loved poolside service featuring salads, soups, grilled specialties, and a selection of gourmet pizzas.
