Seabourn Pursuit, the newest ship in Seabourn Cruises ultra-luxury fleet, will debut in Europe this summer with new Mediterranean sailings now available.
The 264-guest Seabourn Pursuit will officially enter service on 12 August 2023. The inaugural voyage will depart from the World Heritage-listed city of Valetta, Malta bound for Rome, Italy. The 8-day Mediterranean odyssey will call at seldom visited ports on the islands of Corsica and Sardinia, as well as the glittering jewels of Amalfi and St. Tropez.
Seabourn Pursuit will then sail another four Mediterranean voyages before crossing the Atlantic for Miami, USA and then Bridgetown, Barbados.
“We are excited to offer our guests the chance to sail on our new ship and visit some of the very best destinations and hidden harbors. Seabourn Pursuit will invite guests to enjoy small ship cruising as only Seabourn delivers it.”
Josh Leibowitz – Seabourn President.
Indeed, Seabourn Pursuit will be smaller than most other vessels in the fleet. In fact, it is a purpose built expedition ship with just 132 veranda suites. It is the second such vessel in the Seabourn fleet after Seabourn Venture.
Both Seabourn Pursuit and Seabourn Venture are built to PC6 Polar Class standards. They are are designed to explore diverse environments with technology to extend their global range. Each carry two custom-built submarines, 24 Zodiacs and kayaks,. There is also a 26-person expedition team to guide and engage guests throughout each voyage.
Seabourn tell us that expedition experiences will not be offered on the Mediterranean and Atlantic crossing itineraries. However, guests will still experience the many Seabourn amenities and services, including two fine dining venues, multiple lounges, entertainment and luxurious suites starting at 33 sq. m. / 355 sq. ft.
