As Crystal Cruises prepare to relaunch later this month, the company have released details of two new exceptional suite categories, the Sapphire Veranda Suite and the Junior Crystal Penthouse Suite.
Both new suite categories have been created by merging existing smaller staterooms to create larger harmonious spaces. Indeed, Crystal Cruises enlisted the expertise of leading architectural firm GEM for the remarkable suite makeover.
These larger suites offer guests separate bedrooms and living spaces. Not to mention larger bathrooms with a walk-in shower and double vanity.
“We hope that guests will experience a feeling of being in their home.”
– Lorenzo Mortola, Managing Director of GEM
In a nod to the heritage of Crystal’s new co-owner, Manfredi Lefebvre d’Ovidio, the suites are decorated with the best of Italian flare. The linens come from a 150-year old Venetian company, while the marble in the bathroom is from the Italian Alps. The decor is unmistakably contemporary, though with a touch of classic in a palette of pastel tones and shades of grey and beige.
The Sapphire Veranda Suite
The Sapphire Veranda Suite measures up to 50 sq. m. / 538 sq. ft. (incl. veranda). It has a living area and separate bedroom, both elegantly furnished. There is also a private veranda, not to mention attentive butler service.
It’s worth noting that the Sapphire Veranda Suite is available to book in new and classic design.
Junior Crystal Penthouse Suite
The Junior Crystal Penthouse Suite measures up to 75 sq. m. / 807 sq. ft. (incl. veranda). It is an extra-large suite with separate dining and living areas, both of which look onto a private veranda.
There is also a separate bedroom and an opulent marble bathroom, as well as butler service.
When will the new suites debut?
The new Crystal Cruises suites will debut on board Crystal Serenity on 31 July 2023. They will also feature on Crystal Symphony when the vessel relaunches on 1 September 2023.
