The Starlite Club
More than just a bar, the Starlite Club is an entertainment lounge. It features sassy performances, dancing, cabaret and themed events.
The Starlite Club evokes the feeling of a hip London night spot. There is a magnificent central bar as well as lots of comfortable seating around a small stage. What’s more, there is also attentive table service throughout the performances.
The Crystal Cove
The Crystal Cove is a signature Crystal Symphony bar. The decor is chic, but the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. In fact, it’s one of the most popular bars on board.
Tucked away in the glamorous Crystal Plaza atrium, the Crystal Cove showcases performances from talented musician most evenings. On our voyage there was a cool guitarist, as well as a contemporary violinist. The famous Crystal piano is still played too; and it is as popular as ever.
The Avenue Salon
The Avenue Salon is Crystal Symphony’s acclaimed piano bar. It is an intimate venue, where a talented singer takes requests each evening.
It’s a great place for a pre-dinner cocktail. That said, the Avenue Salon comes into its own late in the evening as guests come together to share stories, music and good times. It was one of our preferred venues on the ship.
The Galaxy Lounge
The Galaxy Lounge is the main theatre on Crystal Symphony. It is the place to see fantastic production shows and guest performers.
Crystal Symphony’s seasoned cast perform Broadway-style production shows. They are very good, without a hint of cruise ship cliche. There are shows like “Icons in Concert” which is a tribute to the great music legends, as well as “Crystal on Broadway – The Show”. On Crystal Symphony the performances were met with glowing guest reviews.
There is usually just one performance each evening at 9:45pm. However, sometimes there is also an early show at 7:45pm.
It’s worth noting there is bar service before the performance.
The Palm Court
Crystal Symphony’s observation lounge is known as the Palm Court. Needless to say, it is adorned with palms; in the Arabian style and perched high atop the front of the ship. Indeed, it has commanding 270-degree views across the bow and features large diamond-like skylights.
The Palm Court is a popular venue at any time of day, but especially so at sail out when guest gather to admire the views. At sunset the Crystal trio set the scene as waiters glide past with cocktails and canapés. The Palm Court is a Crystal classic which is now better than ever.
Jade Nightclub
Every cruise ship needs a nightclub and Crystal Symphony is no exception. The Jade Nightclub grooves each evening with dance floor hits from today and iconic tunes from years gone by. There is a DJ and on selected evenings you can even let loose with karaoke.
The Jade Nightclub is open from 11:00pm until late.
Hollywood Theatre
See new release films as well as classic movies in the Hollywood Theatre. It is Crystal Symphony’s own feature film venue and there are usually screenings every day.
On our voyage these included “About My Father” with Robert De Niro and “Book Club: The Next Chapter” with Jane Fonda. Check you Reflections daily program for screening details.
