Silver Cloud was Silversea’s first luxury cruise ship. A small vessel that did in fact redefined all-inclusive, ultra-luxury cruising. Now she’s being reborn to sail in the Silversea Expedition fleet. In November Silver Cloud Expedition will set sail for Antarctica with a brand new look as well as entirely remodelled interiors. Silversea have given us a photo preview of Silver Cloud Expedition.
The most obvious change will be the colour of the hull. Like other Silversea expedition ships it will be painted blue.
Preview of Silver Cloud Expedition interiors
Our preview of Silver Cloud Expedition continues inside where every part of the ship interior is being made-over. The Observation Lounge will sport a smart new decor with wood grain panelling as well as new furniture. Undoubtedly it will be the perfect place to spot migrating whales and other wildlife.
In addition, the popular Panorama Lounge will have an intimate new feel. Flat-screen TVs will show daytime lectures. Then after dark a pianist will also tickle the ivories.
The Silversea signature restaurant La Terrazza will also get a new look, with the addition of a beautiful parquet floor. While downstairs in The Restaurant, brand new chairs and a pleasing blue and cream colour palette create a relaxed, nautical vibe.
Also, the Silver Cloud Explorer theatre will include high-definition screens that are sure to enhance the insightful lectures on board.
Silver Cloud Expedition photos – the suites
As you can see from these Silver Cloud Expedition photos, the suites will all get the decor used on Silver Muse. Also, thanks to the removal of book shelves in Vista and Veranda Suites they will feel even bigger.
Twelve brand new Silver Suites will be added to decks 6 and 7. As a matter of fact these will be a real treat with 52 sq. m. / 541 sq. ft. of designer luxury living space!
The famous Grand Suites at the front of the ship will also receive a major makeover, as well as the top-of-the-line Owners Suite.
The Silver Cloud Expedition photos here are indeed impressive. Discover more about Silver Cloud Expedition at the Silversea website.
