It’s fair to say that health and wellbeing are the main reasons for the rise in popularity of non-alcoholic beverages. Indeed, according to a 2023 study 41% of drinkers in the USA choose low or no-alcohol options based on a health-first preference.

“We understand that our guests’ preferences are always evolving, and we’ve seen an increasing demand for non-alcoholic beverages. Our new Zero @ Sea program was designed to meet those needs for alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages.”

Gerald Mösslinger – Senior Vice President, Guest Operations for Seabourn Cruises.

About Seabourn’s zero-proof cocktails

The zero-proof libations menu includes mixology cocktails with ingredients and tastes free of alcohol. For instance the drinks may incorporate tantalising elderflower, bursts of fresh citrus, or botanical spirits.

“The new Zero @ Sea menu pledges a delightful experience for every guest, assuring that the absence of alcohol does not equate to a compromise in taste or complexity.”

Michael Simon – Senior manager of restaurant and bar operations, Seabourn Cruises.

The alcohol-free cocktails

Many of the zero-alcohol libations offer twists on classic cocktail recipes. For instance, the “Not So Cosmo,” is inspired by a hybrid of the popular Cosmopolitan with the garnish of a classic Old Fashioned; the “Ginny ‘n Tonic” sparkles with Optimist Bright, elderflower and grapefruit; while the “Amalfi Spritz” has non-alcoholic Rosé and Lyre Italian Orange.

The new range of zero-proof cocktails are sure to compliment the enhanced Seabourn dining scene, now featuring the Solis fine-dining experience. For more information visit the Seabourn website.
