Seabourn is poised to make the most of the Canadian Government’s decision to end all COVID-19 entry restrictions from 1 October 2022.
According to Transport Canada, cruisers will no longer need to have pre-board tests, be vaccinated, or use the ArriveCAN app.
Seabourn tell us the new guidance will make it easier for their guests to plan, as well as travel on voyages with Canadian ports of call.
“We welcome the decision by Transport Canada that will make it easier for travellers to sail on our Alaska and Canada and New England voyages.”
Josh Leibowitz – president, Seabourn Cruises.
Canada’s eased COVID-19 restrictsions open new horizons
Seabourn Odyssey and Quest are well placed to enable guests to take advantage of the eased restrictions. Both vessels are scheduled to sail in Canadian waters over the northern summer.
Seabourn Odyssey will sail a series of 7-day voyages between Vancouver, Canada and Juneau, USA. In addition, there will be several 10- and 11-day round-trip voyages from Vancouver. Each one will combine ultra-luxury with expedition-style flair, exploring pristine waterways while chancing upon carving glaciers and magnificent wildlife.
Meanwhile, Seabourn Quest will explore the vivid beauty of North America’s Eastern Seaboard. The intimate vessel will sail a series of 12-day voyages to Canada and New England, journeying between Manhattan, USA and Montreal, Canada.
However, it’s worth noting that certain guidelines will remain in place to protect passengers and crew. These will align with the approach used in the United States.
