Seven Seas Mariner is an icon – the worlds first all-suite, all-balcony cruise ship. In April she will enter drydock for a massive 20-day transformation. Seven Seas Mariner will re-emerge with new culinary experiences, redesigned suites and completely renewed guest spaces.

Among the many highlights is sure to be the pool deck. The space will be entirely remodelled with a new open layout and teak flooring throughout. But the the centrepiece will be a brand new mosaic-tiled pool, featuring a broad ledge for lounging in shallow water.

The Connoisseur Club cigar lounge will get a vibrant cobalt-and-silver colour scheme. Plus, the famous Promenade on deck 6 will get brand new teak flooring.

Guests will notice big changes in every Seven Seas Mariner suite too. There’s be new beds, padded leather headboards, a stylish sofa and new artwork. Of course, all suites feature walk-in closets and oversized, marble-accented bathrooms.

There will be new dining experiences too, with the Chartreuse specialty restaurant being installed during the Seven Seas Mariner refit. Chartreuse is already a guest favourite aboard Seven Seas Explorer with its innovative French menu. The venue on Seven Seas Mariner will evoke memories of a fine Parisian restaurant.

The main dining room is set for a make-over too. The flagship restaurant Compass Rose will have a new sophisticated ambiance, with grand crystal chandeliers, recessed ceiling lights, sleek, leather chairs and plush cobalt blue drapes.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Jason Montague is excited about the Seven Seas Mariner refit. “Seven Seas Mariner will have been elevated to the highest standards of elegance, and guests will enjoy the highly personalized service delivered by every member of Seven Seas Mariner’s exceptional staff and crew. Once Seven Seas Mariner completes her refurbishment, Regent’s fleet will definitively be the most luxurious at sea.”

As soon as the Seven Seas Mariner refit is complete the ship will be repositioned to the Pacific Northwest to take travellers on fully immersive, luxury Alaska experiences.
