The Seven Seas Voyager Concierge and Deluxe Veranda Suites are the most popular room types and it’s easy to see why. They have designer finishes, a marble bathroom and a spacious teak veranda.
The two suite types both have the same layout and size. Indeed, the only difference is in the decor and the added perks – the Concierge Suites have a slightly different palette and come with extra luxuries like an illy Espresso machine, binoculars and soft cashmere blankets.
Both suites include a welcome bottle of chilled champagne as well as a pretty floral arrangement. There is also a mini-bar set up to your personal preferences and it is refilled daily. A room attendant will service the suite each morning and there is also a nightly turndown service. In addition, there is a selection of L’Occitane soaps, shampoos and lotions.
Unlike other luxury cruise ships the suites are spread across the entire length of the ship. So I recommend choosing a suite positioned midship to ensure a smooth ride if the seas get rough.

Concierge Suite floor plan
The size of each Concierge Suite and Deluxe Veranda Suite is identical. They both have 28 sq. m. / 302 sq. ft. of internal space, as well as a veranda measuring 5 sq. m. / 54 sq. ft.
Also, the layout of each suite is the same. There are two distinct zones – a bedroom as well as a comfortable sitting area with floor-to-ceiling glass doors that lead on to the veranda.
Both suite types also have a spacious marble bathroom as well as a walk-in closet.
A well appointed living space
Both suite types have a living area that is spacious and tastefully decorated. They have tones of cream and charcoal-grey with gold highlights in the Concierge Suites or blue highlights in the Seven Seas Voyager Deluxe Veranda Suites. I especially liked the contrasting use of white marble and wood grain surfaces – it gives the suites an extra luxurious finish.
The sleeping area has a European king or twin bed setup – of course, the choice is yours. Either way the mattress is very comfortable. You can also select a duvet or blanket, depending on the climate.
There is also a beautiful hand-crafted leather bedhead and on either side there are nightstands with deep drawers for storing books and other personal items. In addition there are ornate bedside lamps as well as multidirectional reading lights. Sadly, there are no bedside USB slots for charging mobile devices.
Next to the bed there is a marble-topped makeup table with a cosmetics drawer and power points for U.S. and European appliances.
At the other end of the living space there is a sitting/dining area. It is an elegant space where you can relax and watch the ocean outside. There is a plush sofa and coffee table, as well as a marble-topped writing desk and mini-bar. The Concierge Suite also includes an illy Espresso machine.
The writing desk has U.S. and European power units, as well as a handy HDMI port for connecting your devices to the large, flat screen television.
A luxurious teak veranda
All the suites on Seven Seas Voyager have genuine teak verandas. In fact, it is a real treat and something rarely seen on new luxury cruise ships because teak has become so expensive. Indeed, I think the veranda is the perfect place to relax with a good book or a glass of champagne.
While not quite as large as the verandas on more modern luxury cruise ships, these beautiful teak verandas are none the less spacious enough for a set of luxe recliners and a cocktail table. It is also worth noting that each veranda is very private.
Bathroom
The bathrooms in both the Concierge Suite and the Seven Seas Voyager Deluxe Veranda Suite are identical. Each one is very spacious and has a full-size tub as well as a separate shower. Also, there is a large marble vanity with shelving units on each side.
Sadly, the bathrooms did not receive much attention during the 2016 renovation. Indeed they do look somewhat dated, with pink marble as well as timber storage units under the vanity that can best be described as functional. However, there are top quality L’Occitane Mer & Mistral soaps, shampoos and lotions.
Storage
There is ample storage space with each suite having a walk-in closet with room for at least two cases full of clothing. In addition the closet has a set of drawers, a space for shoes and a safe.
Once you have unpacked there is also plenty of room under the bed for storing cases, even the large hard shell variety.
Positions of the Deluxe Veranda Suite and Concierge Suite categories
There are 130 Concierge Suites and 104 Deluxe Veranda Suites onboard Seven Seas Voyager. These are spread across five passenger decks, from deck 6 to 10. Most of the Concierge Suites are positioned on decks 8, 9 and 10, while the other suites can be found on the lower decks.
There are two categories of Concierge Suite (category D and E) and three categories of Deluxe Veranda Suite (category F, G and H). The only difference between them is the position on the ship.
However, the cost difference between the various suite categories can be significant. The more expensive suites are usually positioned midship, so if you are planning an ocean crossing it may be worth paying extra for a smoother ride.
