Seabourn have released fresh details of their upcoming Conversations series onboard Seabourn Sojourn with a roster of distinguished guest speakers and personalities sure to intrigue and delight. Indeed, there will be an astronaut on Seabourn Sojourn!
The season commences this October as Seabourn Sojourn sails to Hawaii, the idyllic islands of the South Pacific, Australia and New Zealand. Some of the World’s finest minds will be onboard to share their knowledge in the fields of space exploration, gastronomy, the arts, military history and anthropology. Indeed, there will be something to satisfy just about every curiosity!
Perhaps one of the most intriguing Conversationalists will be former Space Shuttle Chief Engineer, Frank Buzzard. He spent 30-years at NASA working on the Shuttle program as well as the International Space Station program. The astronaut on Seabourn Sojourn is sure to fascinate guests.
Another fascinating guest in this Conversations series will be the former music critic for the New York Times and NPR commentator Ted Libbey. He spent 15-years presenting pieces on the highly regarded “Performance Today” radio program where he shared his encyclopaedic knowledge with listeners.
An acclaimed BBC documentary filmmaker will also be onboard. Dr. Lawrence Blair co-produced the Emmy Award-winning television series “Ring of Fire” which tours the perilous and spectacular landscape of the Pacific Rim to discover how the rocks beneath our feet have shaped human history.
And for foodies, Hawaiian chef Sam Choy will reveal the secrets to island cooking, making use of the freshest local produce.
There are many more fascinating guest speakers. Indeed, Seabourn’s president Richard Meadows is thrilled with this series. “We are always excited to put together a new line-up of the most interesting personalities to inform and entertain our guests on an array of topics while they travel with us”, he said.
