The swimming pool on Riviera

Oceania’s Riviera has a large, heated swimming pool. It’s like an oasis on the high seas, in fact it is the perfect place to cool off. What’s more, there are two large whirlpool hot tubs for relaxing, no matter what the weather.

A beautiful teak deck surrounds the pool.

The swimming pool is surrounded by a teak deck, filled with padded sun loungers and comfortable day beds. We think the day beds are perfect for couples. There are additional sun loungers upstairs on decks 14 and 16.

There is bar service around the pool deck, so a refreshing cocktail is only as far away as the next drinks waiter.

The exclusive Spa Terrace

The Spa Terrace is an exclusive area reserved for guests staying in Suites and Concierge Level staterooms.

The Spa Terrace is an exclusive area with elevated amenities.

It is located right a the front of the ship with spectacular views and it has enhanced amenities. There are couples sun loungers with shade parasols, as well as a self-service soda station. The Spa Terrace also has an extra-large whirlpool hot tub. Also, there are showers for cooling off.

Alas, there is no bar service on the Spa Terrace. In our opinion the exclusive feel of the Spa Terrace could be made even better by changing this.

The spa on Oceania’s Riviera

The spa on Oceania’s Riviera is a haven of rejuvenation and wellness, not to mention relaxation.

As you’d expect, the spa offers a range of exclusive beauty treatments and therapies. Try a soothing massage or indulge in a facial or body wrap.

There are also male and female saunas and steam rooms.

A full service hairdresser is also available.

Oceania Riviera gym

The expansive Riviera gym means there’s no excuse for not working off those culinary callories! There are treadmills, bikes and elliptical trainers as well as free-weights and weight machines.

There are also yoga, pilates and aerobics classes. These are advertised in the daily Currents newsletter.

In addition, a personal trainer is available for hire on an hourly or daily basis.

Jogging track and sports

Oceania Riviera has a great range of outdoor fitness activities and all of them come with ever changing views.

There is a putting green, golf nets and shuffleboard courts. Oceania Riviera also has a one of the best jogging tracks at sea. It is located on the top deck with spectacular views right around the cruise ship.

Would you or anyone happen to know the length of the pool? I read that some people swim laps in the mornings. Just curious.

      Dear G Higgin

Thank you for your query. I have sailed on Riviera and can confirm the pool is indeed long enough to swim laps. That said, I don’t know the exact length.

      I hope this helps.
